Volunteers
The Foundation has a long history working with volunteers from many countries. Many of these volunteers have made substantial contributions to the lives of disabled persons. When volunteer skills and adaptability work in harmony, the Foundation and our staff remain most grateful. We offer our thanks.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate all applicants, so these paragraphs describe our specific volunteer needs as well as other important volunteer information. Please read this information very carefully, to save your time and ours.
Please be aware that volunteer work remains unpaid. If you would like to work with us you will have to fund your own accommodation, transport, and food. We require a minimum commitment of 3 months, unless you are contracted for a particular assignment. Where possible we may conduct a ‘Skype’ or telephone interview with potential candidates.
At this time we are only looking for volunteers with the following professional skills;
- Welding or metal fabrication
- Physical or occupational therapists
- Thai to English translators
- Qualified medical nurses.
